1. The inspiration for this book was my parents. I know they're watching and attempting to offer advice!
2. The two lead characters, Aaron and Greta are Wisconsin lawyers, as am I.
3. I have worked at two Wisconsin law firms and many of my characters in this book bear the traits of lawyers I met along the way.
4. Many years ago I attended Northwestern as a theatre major (I was leaning toward musical theatre). That's why one of the key scenes in the book involves music.
5. In the book, The Barristers of Note croon the song, "Unchained Melody." That's one of my favorite songs. For some reason, I tear up everytime I hear it!
